Both species can easily be found at Batudaka island, just a few kilometers out of Wakai - the main settlement on the island.
Togian Endemics:
Togian White-eye - Zosterops somadikarta
Found rather easily in lowland degraded forest and coastal scrub areas near Taningkola village, some 7 km from Wakai. I posted some sound recordings of the call on Xeno-canto Asia.
Togian Hawk-owl - Ninox burhani
A good area was the forest above the village of Tanempo, some 3 or 4 km from Wakai.
